Go north through Dayton, OH on I-75. Distance is about 340 miles or 6 hours from Dayton, OH
Take Exit 110 (Just south of WAPAKONETA, OH).
Take Ohio Route # 33 (WEST) About (33.7 miles) to: Ohio Route #127 North
(Turn to your right at this intersection. There is a traffic light here.
There is a truck stop on the far right corner (North-west corner). Go about 18.7 miles (on map)
(16 miles by my vehicle odometer) to and through Van Wert.
Turn right onto the ramp for Route # 30 (WEST). Go (About 25 miles) to I 469 turn right onto the ramp
(This is exit 19 on I 469). This takes you around Fort Wayne, Indiana.
On I - 469 go to exit # 30 North on I-69 (Direction of Lansing)
NOTE: If you want a good place to eat or refuel (About 13.4 more miles) Try this suggestion.
Take Exit 129 at Auburn, IN. Turn right at the end of the ramp.
There is a good family restaurant called: Richard's restaurant. (MAP LOCATION)
if you are getting hungry.
Go down the street several blocks. Turn left on N. Grandstaff Dr.
About a block on the right is Richards Family Restaurant
(280 N. Grandstaff Dr. - Phone 260 925 0341)
It has very good food and reasonable prices.
Back on I – 69 at this point, go north about 66.5 miles to Exit # 38.
Take I-94 going in the direction of Chicago. This leg is about 35 miles.
Follow I-94 In the direction of Battle Creek. Take Exit # 74 B (US 131)
(This leg is about 59 miles) (In the direction of Kalamazoo)
Stay on US 131 toward Grand Rapids. Heads up as you are nearing mile marker # 88.
You need to be in the far left lane. This places you west bound on I-96
(Don’t confuse it with I – 196) This leg is about 30 and a half miles.
Take Exit 1A At the end of the exit ramp, turn left.
About one fifth of a mile on the right is the Bel Aire Motel.
Watch closely for the driveway.
t is a little deceiving with the business place just before you get there.
It is easy to turn in too soon.

MUSKEGON, MI TO CINCINNATI AND DAYTON, OH

You will turn left out of the Bel Aire Motel
Just down the street on your right. You will see Route # 31 south. To Grand Haven. Take it
Very quickly on your right will be an exit ramp to I 96 in the Direction of Grand Rapids. Take it
You will be using I - 96 going east toward Grand Rapids
Watch for Exit # 30 (about 30 miles)
As you are barely going past exit 30 follow the road onto US 131 South bound toward Kalamazoo
This leg is about 55 miles
On US 131 south bound Exit # 34 A
Take: I - 94 going east toward Battle Creek. About 34 miles on this leg
On I 94 going east. Take: Exit # 108 south bound ( I 69 )
It says Lansing (briefly)
Then you see a sign: Direction of Fort Wayne
On this portion: I - 69 going south toward Coldwater and Fort Wayne (passing Auburn, IN)
It is about 66 miles
NOTE: Exit 129 for Auburn: If you want to eat or stretch your legs, perhaps top off the tank if you need it.
Remember Richard's family restaurant (MAP LOCATION)
if you are getting hungry.
Back on on I - 69 (if you got off)
Take exit 115 (About 14 miles from exit 129) Follow it around to Exit # 19 A (about 14 miles on this leg)
Take Ohio State Route # 30 toward Van Wert. (About25 miles on this leg to 127)
In Van Wert: Follow 127 south bound (about 16 to 18 miles to Route # 33)
distance is about: 10.9 miles to the bend and junction with state route # 29
PLEASE NOTE: It is very easy to get on Route # 29 by mistake here.
As you are coming into the loops (clover leafs some folks call them)
On East bound Route # 33 (Direction of Columbus):
Be in the right lane when you are going over the top of the overpass.
There is an exit ramp on top. Take it
It loops around and underneath the overpass putting you on Route # 33 East bound
(in the direction of Columbus and to I-75)
After coming through these loops, please check your highway markers to verify you are on the proper road
There is now about 13 miles to I-75

COLUMBUS, OH TO MUSKEGON, MI
|
|
DIRECTIONS ON I - 65 FROM COLUMBUS, OH TO THE BEL AIR MOTEL
Distance is about 357 miles from downtown Columbus, OH to the BEL AIRE MOTEL Muskegon, MI
Take 270 bypass to Route 33 (west) (Go about 18 miles from 270 bypass) to Marysville, OH
Take 31 North to Kenton, OH. (Distance is about 32 miles from Marysville, OH)
Route 31 will make a bend to the right. As you are passing any of these streets:
Decatur St. E. Walnut W. Ohio W. Franklin St. Turn left.
Go 1 block and turn right. You are now on Route # 68
It is about 72 to 75 miles to I-75
On I -75 at Exit 192, Take the bypass (West) 475 bypass Exit 14
Take Route 23 North
Take I-94 West (Direction of Chicago)
At Jackson, MI Take exit 138 (going north on Route 127 Direction of Lansing)
At I - 96 go West
Take Exit 1A At the end of the ramp, Turn left. Go about one fifth of a mile
On the right is the Bel Aire Motel Watch closely for the driveway.

DIRECTIONS FROM THE BEL AIR MOTEL TO Columbus, OH
Turn left out of the Bel Aire Motel (Airline Rd.) and just down the street on your right,
you will see Route # 31 south To Grand Haven; Take it.
Very quickly on your right will be an exit ramp to I – 96 (Direction of Grand Rapids)
Take it. (You will be using I – 96 going east toward Grand Rapids)
Watch for Exit 106 A (Route 127 South) use it.
Take I-94 East. (Direction of Ann Arbor)
Grab Exit 180 A (Route 23 South)
Take I-475 South (Direction of Dayton) (Mile marker 2)
Road soon blends into I-75 South
At Findlay, OH Exit 156, Take Route # 68 South (Direction of Kenton, OH)
Going through Kenton, OH
On your left will be the following streets:
W. Eliza Summit W. North W. Carrol
Turn left on the Next street (Route 67)
Go 1 block. Turn right
This is Route 53 and 31
Both share this street at this point
Stay on Route 31 (Direction of Marysville, OH)
Take 33 East (Direction of Columbus)

Hop on I-65 North bound going out of Louisville. Going north out of Indianapolis, you will need to be on I - 69

Take Exit 129 at Auburn, IN. Turn right at the end of the ramp.

Once off the freeway, go down the street several blocks and turn left on N. Grandstaff Dr.

Follow the exit to the right. Go to exit # 44
exit to Business I-196
(should turn into US 31)
Turn right onto ramp for I-96 (WEST)
Take Exit 1A
At the end of the exit ramp

around onto I-94 South It will change into I-80
